We are a small Franciscan community-run farm. Our farm was established to create a more self-sustainable lifestyle, to teach people about the wonders of growing their own food, and to learn the basics of animal husbandry. As Franciscans, we have a strong connection to the earth, the ground, and the incredible transition of seed to harvest. We believe that the process of preparing the ground, sowing the seed, maintaining the plant, reaping the harvest, and feeding our community completes a very important cycle. It's the circle of life! The hard work put into our gardens and around the grounds is always completely voluntary by all who are willing. The money made from selling any of our products goes a long way: It will be used to keep the gardens healthy, the kitchens happy, care for the alpacas, support our community, and will be sent around the world to support our overseas missions. We always appreciate your support!
On the grounds we have:
-A four-seasons greenhouse.
-Two vegetable & herb gardens.
-The start of a medicinal herb garden.
-An outdoor/environment friendly wash basin.
*NEW- A prayer garden.
In the near future we hope to have:
-A root cellar.
-An extension on the greenhouse.
