The word usher has a meaning of an official door keeper, or one whose duty it is to show people to their seats or to escort others. Our ushers do just that and much more as they serve the Lord in His house. You will first find our ushers at the side walk or street, helping those who need assistance out of their car, at the steps and at the door with a welcomed smile or hand shake. The ushers work hand in hand with the sacristans to keep the order of the services. They administer to the people by escorting, giving direction and answering questions. They rope off pews for special functions. They pass the plates to collect the tithes. They release for communion. Some of the ushers are used for the gates, some are catchers when the Pastor calls out healings or administers anointings. Ushers help with security as well.  They walk the people to their cars when needed. The ushers ministry is comprised of both men and women alike.

Ushers Ministry meets 30 minutes prior to each service for briefing.
