just wanted to share my thoughts about the Bible Study Br. Aidan gave last Tuesday. For me there were many nuggets that touched my heart, that i have meditated about ,over the past many days since that teaching.
As you will remember if you were able to catch that teaching (and if not...i encourage you to do so)
Aidan began with talking from the Book of Ecclesiastes ... and the wisdom of Solomon.
He also made the statement that "much wisdom is being given us" through the teachings we are receiving from the Holy Spirit by Fr. Paul.
It was at almost at that point, Br. Aidan made the comment that from these teachings...he has been able to see more of himself during the last 2 to 3 years ...than in all of the years before.
It really touched me, because it is true, that the Holy Spirit is plumbing the depths of the Word and showing us through these teachings what the kingdom of God is...and how we can be prepared for being part of that Kingdom...but that we have to be willing to let the Holy Spirit plumb our hearts as well.
there were so many other words of wisdom for us that night. i am just so excited about these teachings we are receiving and how i/we can learn the Wisdom of God ...GOD ...and we are being prepared to go out under HIS wisdom and HIS power to touch the hearts of those who so long to hear a word of encouragement and hope ....see you at Bible Study

We also agree that these last few years have really shined up the mirror! Once you get past the fear of seeing who you really are, it can be the most productive and satisfying exercise for our walks. Thank you Lord for all these teachings, help us to remember that from whom much is given, much is expected.
