CCO Carbon Shredders

Our Community was blessed to be interviewed by Gregor Barnum, Director of Corporate Consciousness for 7th Generation, on our Community's carbon shredding activities as part of the Mad River Valley's Carbon Shredder's initiative. Carbon shredders are focused on reducing their organization's carbon footprint, or total set of greenhouse gas (Carbon Dioxide) emissions caused directly and indirectly by an individual, organization, event or product. We wanted to become better stewards of the earth to fight global warming, save energy and money. People traded SUVs for Corollas and Priuses, drove 55 mph vs. 65 mph, turned the thermostat down, and did many other things as you'll see on this heart-warming video about how carbon shredding is about more than just carbon, it's about love!
