How To Download Bible Studies & Add Them To Your iPod...
The Bible studies are stored on the CCO web server as audio files. They are in a format called MP3 which means that you can play them on an iPod, iTouch, iPhone, or any MP3 player. You can also play them on your computer or simply listen to the online from this web site.
To listen to a Bible study online, double click on the name of the Bible study you want to hear and it should start playing on your computer. To listen to a Bible study on your computer, iPod, or other device, you need to download the file to your computer.

The Bible study files are about 50Mb each. Do not attempt to download them on a dial-up connection. If that’s all you have, talk to someone in the Multimedia Ministry about getting them another way.
To download a Bible Study file, follow these steps:
1. Right click on the name of the Bible study you want to download and then choose from the menu that appears. On Safari choose “Download Linked File.” On Firefox choose “Save Link As” On Internet Explorer choose “Save Target As.”
2. Your browser will ask if it’s okay to download the file and where you want to save it. Be sure to remember the download folder where you save the file.
3. Once a Bible study file is on your computer, you can listen to it by going to the download folder and then double-clicking the file name.
How to Use iTunes to Get a Bible study Onto Your iPod, iTouch, or iPhone
Now that you have a Bible Study file on your computer, you must use iTunes to get the file on to your iPod, iTouch, or iPhone device. If the computer is your own, follow the steps below.
1. Make sure your device is connected to your computer and that it appears in iTunes in the left menu under DEVICES.
2. On a Mac, go to the File menu and choose Add to Library. On a PC, go to the File menu and choose Add File to Library.
3. Navigate to your download folder and choose the Bible Study file.
4. Click Open.
5. The file will be added to iTunes. You can find it under the artist “CCO” or the album “Bible Study.”
6. Sync with your device in the usual way, the same as you would if you had purchased music from the Apple store.
7. Do not delete the files that you downloaded because iTunes will expect them to be where they were when you added them to your iTunes library. If you expect to download many Bible studies, create a folder called CCO and always download into that folder. Note that PC users can add the entire folder to iTunes by choosing Add Folder to Library in step 2 above. Mac user can add the entire folder by simply selecting the folder, rather than the files.
If you have an iPod and are copying Bible studies from someone else’s computer, follow the steps below instead of those above. These steps will not work for an iPhone.
1. Make sure your device is connected to the computer and that it appears in iTunes in the left menu under DEVICES
2. Drag the file from download folder onto the iPod name in iTunes.
3. The file will be copied to the device, but will not appear in the iTunes library.
4. Eject the iPod from iTunes and disconnect it from the computer.
5. Do not sync with this computer. When you get home and connect your iPod to your own computer, you can sync to get the Bible study into your own iTunes library.
